Rafael Buisán is a photographer with a solid career in the field of artistic, advertising and industrial image. With a degree in Art History (1977), he began his career in artistic photography in 1973, combining since then his photographic practice with teaching and visual research. Between 1978 and 1980, he taught photography at the Spectrum Gallery in Zaragoza, a key space in the formation and diffusion of photography in Spain.
Throughout his career, Buisán has moved through different facets of photography. Since 1988, he has worked as a professional photographer in the fields of advertising and industrial photography, consolidating his specialization in product studio photography, architecture and technical photography. In 1989, he founded Buisán Estudio - Imagen Creativa in Alicante, a space equipped with the necessary technical means to tackle projects of high visual and technical demand, and in the editorial field, he has participated in several publications. In 2003, he was the author and editor of the book "Siempre Mediterráneo. The sea from my window". He also collaborated as a creative photographer in the book "10×2 Tradition and innovation in Alicante cuisine", by Pedro Nuño de la Rosa.
