Concha Prada became known with photographic series based on experiments whose base is cooked in the field of the domestic. Prada combines the complexity of her creative processes, open to research, with the closeness of the familiar object, from food to cleaning supplies. This great artist from Zamora, resident in Valencia and appreciated by prestigious gallery owners and collectors of contemporary art, has had solo and group exhibitions. She is considered one of the most interesting artists within the new photography, she is a self-taught creator whose work walks naturally through the imaginary and the real. Her series from the nineties and two thousand years testify to this, as well as to her attitude of closeness to everyday details. Bocas (1994), Basuras Domesticas (1996), Ficciones (2000), De arreglos cocidos y otros guisos (2003), are some of the artist's best series.
