Beatriz Sanches graduated in interior architecture at Unifenas, Brazil in 1996, year in which she also took a course in photography and analog development. She then continued her studies with a Master's degree in Art at MDCC college in Miami, Florida. Throughout her career she has worked as a freelance photographer and for Lean, Wilson and Assoc, as an interior decorator and in Gladys Palmera's private collection as a photographer and retoucher.
