This sculpture of a Buddha transformed into a little punk is more than a nice wink. Metis combines popular culture with a deep spirituality, while practicing artistic craftsmanship with goldsmith hands. In the artist's own words, "I am an artist driven by a deep search for spiritual elevation, fostering a sense of unity in myself and those who encounter my work. Through my art, I aim to deepen my understanding of spirituality and offer a lens through which others can reflect on their own life journey. From a dizzying career in finance to the discovery of an inner truth, I now combine the vibrant energy of Miami with the soul-inspired tranquility of my country home and studio in France. This duality gives life to my work, which combines contemporary perspectives with a timeless essence. My sculptures, hand-painted and adorned with glass crystals, are more than art: they are timeless statements, each piece is unique and invites reflection and connection. Each sculpture is a vessel for the energy present at the moment of its creation, a unique expression of a vibration that resonates deeply within me. These pieces form an invisible bridge between art and humanity, stirring emotions, offering solace, igniting inspiration and motivating action."
