Carved and polychrome wood.
Measurements: 42 x 37 x 15 cm.
Sculpture representing the face of a little angel. Stylistically the work is directly based on the models of the classic "putto", a child with regular features, broad forehead, small nose, big cheeks and wavy hair.
There is no ornamentation on the back of the work, but the exposed wood remains, which confirms that it would have originally belonged to a larger sculptural ensemble, probably an altarpiece.
