DESCRIPTION
FREDERIC GALCERA ALABART (Barcelona, 1880-1964).
"Dog.
Bronze sculpture with green patina.
Signed on the belly.
Measurements: 20 x 26 x 9 cm (sculpture); 2 x 7 x 24 cm (base).
Although we know little about Galcera's life, we can attribute to his production the bronze Sant Jordi of the Pati dels Tarongers of the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya, as well as the new image that today is venerated in the Chapel of the Mare de Déu del Portal de Batea, Tarragona.
