Plaster reproduction of the Victory of Samothrace from the Louvre Museum. It is an acephalous figure allegory of the Victory-Nike, dressed with peplo and winged, belonging to the Rhodian school of the Hellenistic period. The original work rests on the prow of a ship, which acts as a pedestal for the figure, whose body has a slight and graceful twist.
