This sculpture, completely identifiable of the sculptural style of Francesc Carulla, shows the artist's taste for the sense of synthesis and the simplifying will.
Son of the sculptor Francesc Carulla i Ribera, Francesc Carulla i Serra later studied at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona. He has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions, such as the exhibition Arte Actual Cristiano (Barcelona, 1963) and the Exposición Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo (Madrid, 1972). Currently his works can be found in the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia.
