Head in white marble of baroque epoch, representing an adolescent personage, in transit towards the adulthood, as it is appreciated in the somewhat melancholic expression that veils its glance of languid eyes. The slightly puffy cheeks are however more typical of a prepubescent age, and this mixture of deliberately ambiguous attributes enriches the appreciation of the model. The hair is worked strand by strand, defining a hairstyle of soft and spontaneous waves that give vitality to the face. The somewhat receding chin and the straight nose give the character a peculiar physique that is not typified.
