Sculpture in patinated bronze.
Signed on the front right.
On veined marble base.
Measurements: 37 x 55 x 25 cm, (sculpture), 5 x 55 x 24 cm, (pedestal).
Sculptor and teacher at the "Escola de Bells Oficis de la Mancomunitat" and at the "Escola del Treball" of the Diputació de Barcelona. He was formed in the School of Fine Arts of Barcelona and in the workshop of his uncle the sculptor Miquel Castellanos, he was a disciple of the sculptor Esteve Monegal and made a study trip to Florence extending it by diverse parts of Italy as well as to Brussels and Paris. His work is classified of classic style.
