Joseph Lorenzl developed his activity mainly between 1910 and 1940, fully immersed in the Art Deco style, style of which he was one of the most famous and prolific representatives. Based in Vienna, he stood out for immortalizing ethereal and elegant dancers, naked or dressed in futuristic or exotic costumes, which he sometimes cold polychromed. He worked for firms such as Keramos or Goldscheider. He participated in the Salon des Artistes Français in 1928. He is represented in the Museo Casa Lis, as well as in international museums dedicated to Art Deco, and various private collections.
