If the chandeliers in bidding stand out for anything, it is for the dexterity and skill of the sculptor, who is none other than the prolific Miayo Eisuke. A native of Yokohama, Eisuke's creations are distinguished by their exquisite technique and attention to detail. In this pair of theatrical characters he pays special attention to the costumes, embellishing the dark, naturalistic fabrics with floral motifs in gold, conceived as embroidery. Eisuke seeks the individualization of each of the characters, presenting us with two completely different faces, with perfectly defined features. Each of them holds the candelabra themselves, like torch holders, with a fluted shaft from which emerge four markedly curved arms.
