Signed on the base.
Measurements: 33 x 15,5 x 9,5 cm.
Alois Stehle trained at the Munich Academy from 1886 and was later appointed court sculptor. In 1890 he made his debut at the annual exhibition of the Glasplast in Munich, after which he also made several appearances at the Great Art Exhibitions in Berlin, including the bronze "The Victor" in 1897.
