Bruno Zach was an Austrian Art Deco sculptor of Ukrainian origin who worked in the early and mid-twentieth century. He emigrated to Austria as a young man and studied at the Vienna Academy with sculptors Hans Bitterlich and Josef Müllner. He worked both in Austria and Germany. Famous for his fine bronzes made for the manufactory Wiener Bronze, or Vienna Bronze, the Ukrainian-born Zach was best known for his figures of flirtatious and sexually liberated young women.
