The composition reproduces to scale one of the sumptuous doors of the Alhambra in Granada. The artist has carefully reproduced the door with horseshoe arch. The reliefs, polychromed in gold, blue and red, include, as usual, geometric and vegetal motifs and inscriptions. The lower part of the wall is covered with tiles, also with a decorative motif of vegetal inspiration, although synthesized. The upper windows are closed with a lattice, carved in wood, whose function is to preserve the interior of the rooms both from prying eyes and from the intense heat of the south of the Iberian Peninsula.
