Artist belonging to the generation of painters who led the Spanish plastic renovation at the beginning of the 21st century. His work, characterized by conceptual coherence and the desire for experimentation, as well as the use of simple forms to which he gives an intense symbolic potential, have been made on different media, such as video, installation, photographic or drawing, reflecting the creative capacity of Peral. His first exhibition, held in 1992 at the Joan Miró Foundation, served as a precedent for a long career that has led him to become well known in the Spanish art scene. His work is represented in institutions and museums such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), Banco de España, Banc Sabadell and Fundación Helga de Alvear. He co-directs the Halfhouse project, a space for artistic exchange and communication located in Barcelona.
