Luis Quintero was an artist, whose formation was of self-taught character. At the age of eighteen he moved to Holland, where he initiated a direct contact with artists and art centers. Later he returned to Madrid where he began to work as an assistant marble worker, training in a practical way on the qualities of this material. However, his production was not limited to marble work, or sculpture, but he explored different techniques such as painting. He began to participate in collective and individual exhibitions in Andalusia and through interdisciplinary projects also came to exhibit his work in galleries in Madrid, Europe and America. Today his work can be found in public institutions, such as in the art collection of the City of Cadiz (Hercules collection), in the contemporary art collection of the Provincial Council (Aduana collection), in the collection of Cajasol in Seville or in the Museum of Cadiz, to which, for example, he donated his work Cadenas, made of bronze and steel.
