Sturdy lounger designed by Pierre Dariel in the 1930s. The wooden structure is made of beech, while the seat and back are made of cane. It has a folding backrest and seat, which can be folded to different positions. The frame and armrests give the furniture a strong and unique structure.
Initially specialized in garden furniture in the 1920s and early 1930s, Pierre Dariel later founded Maison Dolt on rue Pierre Charron, near the Champs-Elysées. Outdoor chairs by this author are kept at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
