Sebastian Wrong is a British product designer born in London in 1971. He studied sculpture at Norwich School of Art and Camberwell School of Art until he finished his studies in 1993. Wrong designs furniture, lighting and accessories and has collaborated with numerous manufacturers. The Spun collection he designed for Flos in 2002 marked his breakthrough into the design world and also earned him the Red Dot Design Award.
In 2016, Wrong founded his own design company, wrong.london, where they focus on lighting design. It was through this company that Sebastian Wrong completed his collaboration with HAY. He also opened his own manufacturing company and is co-founder of Established & Sons. His manufacturing prowess has brought substantial credibility to the organization and he continues to exercise his skills as a product designer, Wrong is actively involved in the fields of management and design in all of his ventures.
Founded in 1962, FLOS is an Italian design company created by brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Tobia Scarpa in Merano, northern Italy. Experimenting with new techniques, they created contemporary luminaires with artistic verve, making design history with their unique cocoon-shaped luminaires created by spraying resin on a steel structure. Today, FLOS exports to more than 80 countries and has stores in Rome, Milan, Paris and New York, among others.
