The chair in tender masterfully combines functionality and aesthetics to create an elegant and durable product. It rises on four legs connected to each other by crossbars at different heights and directions. The semi-oval backrest adds sophistication to the ensemble.

Gonzalo Córdoba is considered a pioneer of environmental and interior design in Cuba. His creations, which stand out for their originality and expression of the national identity, become inspirational guidelines for new generations of designers. Together with María Victoria Caignet, he developed an intense work in the design and decoration of hotels from the 1940s to the 1970s, schools, health centers, state institutions and restaurants. Among their works are the Luis Díaz Soto (Naval, east of the capital) and Lenin (Holguín) hospitals, the Guamá tourist complex in the Zapata Swamp, and common areas of the Palace of the Revolution. Nelson Herrera Ysla affirmed of his person "his enthusiasm and passion for developing in our country a design in accordance with the existing local materials, the climatic conditions, the economic rationality, the sense of beauty and the expression of codes and values of an island in whose destiny cultures coming from different regions of the world intertwine".
