Folding chair with armrests, created in 1952 by the Slovenian designer Niko Kralj, who incorporated beauty, functionality and innovation in the whole series of seats "REX". It was a great success and is still present today in the most important museums dedicated to design, and continues to be manufactured. Kralj designed the entire Rex using curved plywood, achieving a design that has endured over time.

Niko Kralj was a Slovenian architect and designer famous for creating the "Rex" wooden folding chair, inspired by the Scandinavian design movement of the 1950s, which is in the collection of MoMA in New York and the Danish Design Museum. As an architect by training and an absolute pioneer in the field, Niko developed innovative pieces for the time and became one of the first industrial designers in history.
