DESCRIPTION
ROGER LECAL (France, XX century).
Large mirror "Lipstick".
PVC and mirrored glass.
It shows signs of wear from use and the passage of time as it is a vintage piece.
With seal on the base.
Measurements: 170 x 32 cm.
Mirror formed from a white fiber cylinder, bevel cut, with an oval mirror moon. This is one of Roger Lecal's most popular designs, with versions in different colors and sizes, both standing and table mirrors.
Roger Lecal trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He worked for advertising agencies before creating his own design agency in 1958. In the 1970s, he continued to work on interior design projects, mainly for hotels and restaurants. Today his creations are exhibited in museums around the world, including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
