Bar furniture designed by Jacques Chambron and Robert Guillerme in the fifties. The simple lines and the handcrafted finish distinguish the pieces of this duo of designers. The slatted wood structure opens at the bottom with two overlapping shelves and a covered top. Characteristic of their style is to take reference to classic models and subtly pervert them, as manifested in this piece.

Jacques Chambron (1914-2001) and Robert Guillerme (1913-1990) studied, respectively, at the Reims School of Decorative Painting and the Boulle School. They became partners in 1949, founding "Votre Maison" in Lille, during the difficult post-war period. They imposed a new concept of furniture defined by creativity, craftsmanship and quality. Chambron's sons will continue the family business, maintaining the international recognition gained in the 1950s.
