Table lamp of big dimensions, Memphis style, designed by Hans Von Klier for Bilumen. It presents a minimalist design and in agreement with the postmodern aesthetics of the eighties. It consists of a pyramidal base in matte black painted metal and a large white swivel shade.

Hans Von Klier studied industrial design at the School of Arts and Crafts in Munich and later worked as a freelance designer for companies such as Lübke and Thonet. For the latter he designed a series of chrome-plated steel and leather furniture that have become icons of modern design. From 1960 to 1968 he collaborated with Ettore Sottsass in Milan to create the body of the Summa 19 and Summa 19-R mechanical calculators. His pieces are characterized by the elegance of their forms, simple and defined, as well as by the combination of high quality materials (leather, fine woods, etc.).
