DESCRIPTION

Measurements: 100 x 200 x 42 cm.

Wall lamp made of chromed metal and methacrylate that has an extendable shaft which ends in a concave screen in which the chrome finish is combined with an outer perimeter finished in white. Aesthetically the piece is based on an aerodynamic design influenced by the "Space Age" style, in fact, the piece has a great similarity with the lamp Mod. 356 of Reggiani, in terms of design, although in this particular case it is anchored to the wall. The piece is a combination of wall lamp and arc lighting, respecting the proportions of a direct light floor lamp, with a telescopic stem, adapting it to wall mounting.
Goffredo Reggiani, is one of the most iconic names in Italian, mid-century modern design. Reggiani is known for his futuristic-looking lamp designs that emerged as an aesthetic response to the space age that began in the late 1960s. Sputnik and globe shapes, as well as elongated ovals, are motifs that recur in his designs. The Reggiani firm was founded in the 1950s, focusing on the production of decorative lamps. The first models will be the creations of the founder himself, Goffredo Reggiani, who manually made the first prototypes. He soon began collaborations with artists, architects and technicians, and in the 1970s production was extended to technical lighting, where scientific research was combined with aesthetics.
