Measurements: 34 x 30 x 37 cm (x2).

Pair of large sconces that have a white lacquered metal base with pure geometric shapes and globular methacrylate lampshades. The pieces are part of the Space Age aesthetic, name given to the period in which the space race began in 1957 with the launch of Sputnik. This fever to conquer space also reached design, and during the sixties and seventies a model of decoration was developed based on an idyllic vision of the future, and on everything to do with spaceships, new technologies and innovative materials.
Metalarte was founded in 1932 as a metalworking workshop, specializing a few years later in lighting. It brought together innovative designs for more than sixty years. It is a pioneer in design and decorative lighting in Spain.
