One of the most important Catalan watercolorists of the 20th century, Fresquet received throughout his career numerous mentions and awards, among them the First Medal of the Group of Watercolorists of Catalonia, three times, the same as the Medal and the First Prize in the Biennials of Montblanc. In 1973 he was commissioned by the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre to make different watercolors of various views of Spanish cities to illustrate stamps and postcards with a tourist theme. His work can be found in important national and foreign museums and private collections.
