Eighteenth-century drawing of agile stroke, in which a bacchic scene of dynamic composition is developed, very much to the taste of the late-baroque period. In the foreground, a satyr with expressive animalized features gives drink to a putto sitting on a sheep. The little one drinks greedily from the pitcher. A maenad intoxicated with wine and dance lies naked and the satyr contemplates her with a sly look. Behind appear groups of characters barely sketched.
