Gabriel Portolés studied in Barcelona, at the School of Arts and Crafts of La Llotja and with Jordi Alumà. He also attended classes in altarpiece techniques, where he found the path of his artistic expression: egg tempera painting on panel, which he never abandoned. A tireless traveller, Portolés travelled around Europe, North Africa, China, Brazil and the United States, sailing the Amazon, enriching himself and capturing his new experiences in his paintings. Throughout his career, this painter has exhibited his work frequently, both in our country and in France, Germany and the United States, where his technique is highly appreciated.
