Green glass imitating malachite.
French production of mid-nineteenth century. The glass pieces are German.
In excellent condition.
Measurements: 27.5 cm (height); 8 x 8 cm (base).

Interesting set in green tones of French vases with globular container of the nineteenth century. The front part is decorated with courtly scenes, while the back part presents landscape views with buildings. A kaleidoscopic play of gold on blue embellishes the main bodies. The handles adopt the forms of classical scrolls and both the bases and the neck of the same are distinguished by the strength of the smooth, polished and gilded surface.
