Measurements: 34 x 10,5 x 10,5 cm.
Pair of candlesticks made in the seventies of the twentieth century in neoclassical style. They are composed of a stipe stem, made of carved rock crystal, which is mounted at its upper and lower ends by a lighter resting on a small plinth and by four spread legs, respectively.
Rock crystal is a variety of quartz noted for its clarity and purity. It is often used in jewelry and as an ornamental material because of its beauty and strength. In ancient times it was attributed mystical and healing properties, being considered a symbol of energy and light.
Egyptians, Greeks and Romans already used this mineral in decorative objects and ritual tools. In the spiritual realm, it has been considered an energy amplifier, and many cultures believe that it has the ability to balance and harmonize the energies of the human body.
