Bohemian glass, known mainly as Bohemian crystal, is a glass produced in the regions of Bohemia and Silesia, now parts of the Czech Republic. It has a centuries-long history of being recognized internationally for its high quality, craftsmanship, beauty and often innovative designs. Hand-cut, engraved, blown and painted decorative glassware ranges from champagne flutes to huge chandeliers, ornaments, figurines and other glassware. The hegemony of Bohemian crystal began in the late 16th century.
