The decoration is completed with bands of concentric lines in blue and green, a typical motif of popular Spanish ceramics throughout the 19th century.
Triana was a very popular center of pottery production since Roman times. Later the Arabs included in terms of technique and aesthetics of ceramic production in the area. At the end of the 15th century Niculoso Francisco Pisano moved to the area and introduced the Italian style and a new technique in which the tile is worked like an oil painting.
