Trained at the School of Applied Arts, Pol Chambost began his career following in his father's footsteps and became a funerary sculptor. A few years later he discovered ceramics, which he used first in the family marble workshop and then to create his first pieces. After opening his own workshop, he had great success in France and the United States. He played an important role in the Chambre Syndicale des Céramistes d'Art. He has exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and the Salon des Arts Ménagers.
