Montblanc in 1993 launches its second limited series, this time dedicated its Limited Edition to the renowned English writer Agatha Christie, who opened the doors of worldwide literary success with his debut work "The Mysterious Affair at Styles". Examples of cunning and wisdom are the legendary heroes of her novels, such as Hercule Poirot and Miss Jane Marple. She was named member of the Royal Society of Literature and made "Doctor Honoris Causa" by the University of Exeter. In 1971 she was awarded the title of "Dame of the British Empire", a title of nobility that in those days was rarely granted.
