The first Duofold model was created in 1921 at the express request of Lewis M. Tebbel, a salesman for the firm who wanted to offer his customers a fountain pen with these characteristics. Within a few months Parker had sold more than 15,000 units despite its high price for the time. The Parker Duofold has undoubtedly become an emblematic symbol of the company.
