Writing desk composed of an oval tray raised on four legs and decorated with scrolls and vegetal elements. On this part, there are two vases with lids, with clear lines and decoration inspired by nature, drawing simple flowers with their physiognomy. These two pieces flank a silver figure in the form of a dancer with her arms raised supporting a cup that ends in the upper area in the form of a fish.
As is usual in 19th century art, the influence of Neoclassicism is clear in this work, as is the use of new techniques in the field of silver for the decoration of certain elements of the bunting. The movement seen in the tray is reminiscent of earlier works in different styles, an influence that is also frequent in this period.
