Maria Coluccelli graduated in Fine Arts, specializing in Painting, at the Complutense University of Madrid, where she also completed a monographic course in mural painting and restoration. In 2010 she took a postgraduate course in Natural Drawing at the University of Barcelona, having previously completed a doctorate at the same faculty. Multidisciplinary artist, she develops oil painting, mural painting, illustration, collage and performance. His recent exhibitions include: Collective Jornades Internacionals Real Academia de Sant Jordi, Barcelona 2013; Individual "Not so secret anymore" Casa de la Princesa. Barcelona 2011; Selected and acquisition of work in International Painting Competition Foundation of Arts and Artists. European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM), Barcelona 2011; Individual Gallery Sabor Café, Barcelona 2010; Collective Fem Art; Barcelona. She has been selected and runner-up in: Honorable Mention Contest "Artists of New Harvest" organized by Bodegas Gurpegui, Navarra/ Madrid 2004; "25th Anniversary of the Spanish Constitution", Casa de la Moneda Museum, Madrid 2003, among others. With large-format triptychs he was part of the "Scent canvas" project, in which the perfumer Beatrice Aguilar invited renowned painters to interpret through pigments what for them evoked a certain fragrance. On that occasion Coluccelli transposed to oil the subtle multisensory nuances inspired by Aguilar and Jordi Fernández's Rosa ópera scent.
