Painter, draftsman, restorer and art collector born in Havana in 1974. Graduated at the National Academy of Fine Arts "San Alejandro". Later he studied at the National Center of Restoration and museology also in Havana. In 1996 he won the painting award of the Visual Arts Center in the "Salón de la Ciudad". In the year 1999 he moved to Barcelona and between the years 2008 to 2014 he participated selected by the painter Antonio Lopez in his workshops of the chair Francisco de Goya in the city of Avila and "Masters of Figuration" at the University of Navarra in the city of Pamplona. His work has been exhibited in Galleries and Art centers in Havana, Barcelona, Paris, New York, Brussels, Florence, Toulouse, Valencia, Montpellier, Salon de Provence, The important "Koller Gallery" in Budapest and the center "Modern Art" in Pisa, among many others. In 2016 a retrospective of part of his work from 1996 to 2016 was held in the City of Lloret de Mar. For more than a decade he has taught several courses as a teacher of painting technique and since 2014 until today he lives and works in his House-Workshop in the medieval village of "Mur de Barrez" in the south of France.
His work is characterized as a fusion of the vision he has as a contemporary artist influenced by the avant-garde of the twentieth century, but which in turn uses the ancient or traditional techniques of painting from the fifteenth to eighteenth centuries (the use of egg tempera in the base, the preparation of pigments, working with glazes, etc.) all inherited from those masters predecessors, to create and evoke a neo-baroque or nostalgic atmosphere and all in a purely theatrical light.
