Artist of personal figurative language, Héctor Ortega approaches traditional themes such as the figure, landscape or still life, showing an expressive concept of color and texture, moving on occasion on the border between figuration and abstraction. Throughout his career, Ortega has held important exhibitions in Spain and abroad, with special mention to those held at the Sammer Gallery and the Kreisler Gallery in Madrid, the Borghi & Co. Society in New York, the International Monetary Fund, the Chicago Art Fair and ARCO in Madrid and Europart, among others.
