Son of the painter Tomás Pereira, Fernando Pereira grew up in an artistic and literary environment. He began his studies in Humanities and later trained at the Barnet Art Center in London, although he learned most of his artistic skills in his father's studio. His style is rooted in figurative expressionism, leaving aside the informalism that prevailed in previous decades, resulting in a totally expressive and dedicated work, governed by the heart of the artist. He has made different series, among which stand out "Galician Iconography", "Musicians", "Women on war footing" or "Abstract discourse". He combined his career as an artist with that of music producer and DJ, also making album covers for singers such as Loquillo. Pereira has shown his work both nationally and internationally, exhibiting his work in the Galician capitals, Pamplona, Cadiz, Brighton, London, Los Angeles and Milan, among many others.
