Painter and engraver considered one of the main representatives of the Spanish figuration of the second half of the XX century, Valdivieso was formed in the School of Arts and Trades of Granada, and was part of the group of painters of the old gallery Buchholz of Madrid, where he exhibited regularly both individually and collectively. Between 1951 and 1952 he lived in Paris, and later collaborated with the architect Fernandez del Amo in the Plan of the National Institute of Colonization, making several stained glass windows for churches in Madrid, Lleida and Valladolid. He is currently represented at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
