Born in Logroño in 1961, she graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and did her doctorate at the University of Salamanca, where she was a research fellow at CESIC. From 1991 to 1993 she was a professor in the Drawing Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 1997 she has been a full professor in the area of knowledge of "Sculpture" in the Department of Artistic Expression at the University of Vigo, on the Pontevedra campus, work that she combines with artistic creation. She is considered a pioneer in giving drawing the main role in her production since her first exhibitions. Her large format works, made with graphite, black pastel and/or gouache on paper are of extreme quality. Her work is sensorial and an invitation to experiment with sight, but at the same time a subtle obligation to reflect as a result of contemplating her works. He has had numerous exhibitions and his work has been seen both in Spain and in various parts of Europe: Denmark, Portugal, Germany, France.
