Ciuco Gutierrez began his professional career in the eighties. In 1986 he had his first solo exhibition at the Moriarty Gallery in Madrid and since then he has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Spain and abroad. His works are represented in private and public collections among which are; the National Museum of Art Reina Sofia in Madrid, the IVAM of Valencia, Telefonica Collection, North Collection of Contemporary Art of the Government of Cantabria, Community of Madrid, La Caixa Foundation of Barcelona, City Council of Alcobendas, City Council of Alcorcon, Caja Cantabria, Coca Cola Foundation, Diputación de Cádiz, UNICAJA, Niemeyer Art Center of Avilés, etc..
