Manel Rovira studies at the Escola Eina in Barcelona and collaborates with different artists of the city. He is an artist sculptor who has participated with the group G de T (Working Group), in different exhibitions (selection): 1972 Documenta de Kassel; 1976 Venice Biennale; 1977 Joan Miró Foundation of Barcelona; 1998 ARCO, Ediciones Ming stand, Madrid; 1999 Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA). Also: New Art, Barcelona "Menjar i veure", Galeria Alter Ego, Barcelona 2000 - "Saltamarti. Tribute to Joan Brossa". Fundacio Llorens Artigas, Gallifa (Barcelona) 2001 - Shatevin Gallery, Barcelona 2002 - "Laberint circular" (bullfighting). Leopoldo House, Barcelona. 2006 - Can Nobas. His language is based on figuration as a starting point, synthesized forms, the minimum fundamental forms as sculptural language.
