JOSEP MARIA PRIM GUYTÓ (Barcelona, 1907 - 1973).

Measurements: 60 x 80,5 cm; 76,5 x 96 cm (frame).
Vocational draughtsman, Josep Maria Prim begins his career in 1924, year in which he publishes several illustrations in "El Autonomista" of Girona. He then studied woodcut and painting in Barcelona, at the Ateneo Politécnico, the FAD and the Círculo Artístico. During the thirties he took part in the Salones de Primavera in Barcelona, and in 1932 he participated in a group exhibition in the United States. Related to the group Destino, he collaborated with several magazines and editorial projects. He is currently represented in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona.
