Born circumstantially in Las Palmas, he spent his childhood in Olot, where his father had a workshop of religious imagery in the bosom of which the first formation of the artist took place. He also studied at the School of Fine Arts in Olot for a short period of time. At the age of twelve he won his first prize at the Centre Catòlic, and at eighteen he was part of the group Cràter d'Art. He made his debut in 1954, and since then he has shown his work both in Spain and abroad, in prominent galleries such as the Comas in Barcelona, the Kreisler in Madrid or the Atelier Holstein in Hamburg, as well as in the Fons d'Art in Olot.
