In this painting, the author pays homage to the suggestive gardens of Santiago Rusiñol, specifically, those that the modernist painter made of the gardens of Aranjuz, with its gazebos and cypresses using a palette of autumnal tones. This canvas immortalizes one of the romantic and evocative corners in which the Catalan master poured his sensitive and poetic temperament, managing to transfer to the canvas the unique atmosphere of these secret places, real but at the same time metaphors of a state of the soul.
