Spanish painter. As a child he studied music with the composer Salvador Giner, and then drawing and painting with Carlos Giner. He was formed in the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos of Valencia, of which he became professor and member of the Academy. He also taught at the Conservatory of Arts and Crafts in Madrid. He practiced history painting, Byzantine-style religious painting and portraiture, although he was especially known for his still lifes, especially those of flowers. In the latter two he was awarded the third medal and the paintings were acquired by the State.
