Venetian school of the 18th century.

It presents faults in the painting and deformation in the plate.
Measurements: 47.5 x 35 cm; 62 x 51.5 cm (frame).

The portrait in tender is placed on a neutral and dark background from which the figure emerges with illusionism, illuminated directly by a homogeneous light, which leaves behind the excessive and chiaroscuro hallmarks of light and shadow of the previous century. It shows a gentleman with a peaceful countenance, wearing a fashionable wig and neat clothes with lace ruffles.
